Why practice with Mumma Magma?

I am living proof of the transformative powers of yoga. I went from being overweight, having chronic lower back issues, and letting my spiritual practice become almost non-existent, to losing 40lbs, being the fittest I’ve ever been (I’m 51) and finding connection to source and Self like never before.
As a 200hr RYT, I have spent the last four years helping hundreds of individuals discover the benefits of yoga within their own bodies and daily lives. I have witnessed those with mobility issues, chronic pain, and a myriad of other issues find renewed health, confidence, strength, and a new lease on life through a regular yoga practice.
But the benefits of yoga reach beyond the physical. Through breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation this holistic and ancient practice contributes to reduced anxiety and stress, a sense of connection with Self and the world, and helps the practitioner to face daily challenges with grace, ease, and strength.
That’s why, in each of my classes, I provide the space and the techniques required for each individual to discover these capacities within themselves.
So, If you would like to tap into your strength, cultivate equilibrium in heart and mind, and make time to explore your unique and divine inner universe, join me for regular classes at various locations from Mill Bay to Victoria.
Together we will explore the many modalities available through Hatha Yoga, including vinyasa, yin, gentle and restorative and work to build mobility, strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Classes are are open to all levels. Modifications are provided.
Come exactly as you are. All you need is an open mind and an open heart.
And take care of yourself. Bring plenty of water, props if you use them, and remember that yoga is a practice. Yoga is about self exploration, physically, yes, but also mentally and spiritually. You don’t have to fit into any kind of mold to practice yoga, you simply have to stay curious and be willing to explore.
**Please Note**
I do not provide mats or props at my classes. Please make sure you bring what you need to practice.
